Women only safari in Tanzania
Description of Women only safari in Tanzania
This is a safari holiday with a difference, because as well as including safaris in four Tanzania national parks with expert local guides, you will also deliver supplies to a local school, and visit a small town.
This is a women-only tour and you’ll make fantastic friends in your small group. This tour celebrates local women and empowers them in their communities, by supporting them through charity and through patronising their businesses.
The safari on this trip is fantastic – Tanzania has some of the best safari in the world. What’s more, your driver-guide knows the best way to get incredible game viewing experiences. Whilst some drivers may just follow other jeeps and have a maximum number of miles they will drive, these local guides are highly trained and don’t just follow the crowd.
You’ll see the famous Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park, but you’ll get to discover lesser-known places like Tarangire National Park, which, despite being on the wildebeest migration route, with a high concentration of wildlife, is rarely visited. You can also marvel at Lake Manyara, with its scenic lake views and forest safaris.
As well as five days of safari drives, you will have a day visiting local communities. You’ll first visit a remote local school and make a delivery of sanitary pads. Then you’ll get to tour a small town by tuk tuk – the way that locals get around. You’ll stop for the town’s markets, a banana plantation, and a lunch with people from the community. There are 120 tribes in the area, and travelling even in a small town you’ll get an idea of the diverse residents of Tanzania, the second most culturally diverse nation in the world.
This tour operator is owned by a Tanzanian couple – one of whom is a highly experienced wildlife guide. They care about giving guests an authentic Tanzanian experience which supports local people – with plenty of fantastic animal encounters, too.

We are supporting on the big campaign on getting rid of use of plastic bags .We also avoid a lot of printing and for bookings and other related issues with paper we try to do online in order to avoid printing a lot and hence saving trees! In Tanzania the major source of power is hydroelectricity, which need a lot of water, but we are in a Tropical Country where the sun is throughout the year. In our office we mostly use solar system to avoid the much wasted water from Hydroelectricity.
We are supporting a tree planting project at Usambara Mountain which involve the school children from 7 years to 14 years to raise awareness of taking care of their environment and cutting down trees will have a negative impact to the wildlife and future generation.
For the tree planting project like the friends of Usambara mountains the clients can participate in planting trees together with the school children, also they can buy trees from the village trees nursery and donate to the project.

Supporting girl child by using some of the profit to buy sanitary pads for girls in local remote schools in Tanzania Northern circuit.Women Empowerment
In our community we have many women who are single parents due to different reasons, mainly death of their husbands, leaving them to raise their children on their own with little or no income and are left to live in extreme poverty. As locals, the our team donates high milk yielding breed cows to these families .The widow is responsible for its care of the cow and manage it under zero grazing. This project have the general objective of improving the quality of life of women in our community and their children.
We have already helped three families who have started a collecting milk, usually a reliable man with a boda boda a famous name for the motorbike, undertakes the job of transporting the milk in urban center at a fair cost for sale. Usually a cow can produce 8-15 litters of milk per day, these families have agreed to market their milk collectively. Usually the morning milk is sold using this arrangement while the afternoon milk is sold to local customers.
