1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The sights and places we visited were beautiful. I liked that we visited places that are not known outside of social media. The best part of the holiday itself was the encounters that were facilitated through the company's contacts. I'll never forget those.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It was a culturally immersive trip/experience, and I appreciate that we met people to learn about their country. The company shares an extensive reading list before the trip begins. This was a great way to learn about the country beforehand. The reading is optional but definitely helps understand the country more, making the conversations with local people about the history of the country much easier to follow.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We only stayed in locally-owned hotels and engaged with local businesses. Our meetings and supporting different organizations and businesses during the trip made it feel like we were truly making a difference.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I'm happy I found this tour and I look forward to visiting other destinations with them, like Kosovo. They give continuation to history.Holiday Reviews
