Soaking up the environment in an area that mass tourism has not ruined yet.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't expect to see Blue Whales. The number of sightings has dropped off a cliff edge in the last three years.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes to benefitting local people. No to reducing the environmental impact and helping conservation. Too many boats focus on too few sighting opportunities and many boats chase the whales and dolphins indiscriminately.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Disappointing with regard to the named objective of seeing Blue Whales. However Sri Lanka is fantastic, feels safe and welcoming and the majority of locals are delightful people.Holiday Reviews
