We recommend travel by train to reach Geneva, a much more eco-friendly solution than flying or driving. Geneva is exceptionally well-connected by rail to major European cities, and the main train station is just a 5-minute walk from your hotel. Within the region, you'll cross Lake Geneva by ferry — a low-impact, scenic way to travel. In Geneva, we recommend using public transportation, walking, or biking. Geneva offers excellent public transport and bike-sharing systems that make it easy to explore sustainably.
