Responsible tourism

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

Environment
During this tour, we will visit Chitwan National Park which is home to numerous animals and birds. This area is well protected and runs many projects to increase the population of rhinos, tigers, elephants, musk deers, otters, birds. It is a true treasure of Nepal. We do not promote any activities that bring harm and do not encourage riding animals. We believe everyone should be treated with respect.

Hotels we are going to stay in are supporting green eco-movement and take actions to not only promote but to keep plastic free Nepal. We clean the land and the rivers, utilize and recycle.

Our hotels and guest houses use solar panels as one of the main sources of energy for electricity, stoves, lamps in order to minimize fire-wood. Most of the buildings are built on new technology to resist earthquakes and use steel-reinforced concrete as the base.

Our guides are well-trained to follow responsible and sustainable tourism. You can always consult with them in order how to utilize the garbage, purify the water instead of buying bottled water in plastic.

The Impacts of this Trip

We definitely know where to find local things that will create income and benefit local people, like souvenirs, fruits, cloths, traditional hand made decor for homes, plates, bags and so on. We will visit local stores that manufacture things for daily life from recycled materials. Also, shops that educate and employ women, give them places to get a profession and support themselves, be independent. It's a huge step in Nepal when girls and women can persuade their dreams and ambitions. We aim to support them by visiting their shops, learn more about these projects and how we can help them.

We offer our team good working conditions, always training them to grow professionally and be informative. Our guides speak a few foreign languages which benefit them as they can operate more nationality groups and avoid language barriers. We provide them with an annual salary to keep them on a safe side even when they have no job in some period of the year.

Respect is the key to travel responsibly. And the best way to learn about the culture is to dive into it. Talk to locals, take part in celebrations, eat traditional food, learn Nepali, teach your language - be active. In this way we connect with each other and learn about each other.
