Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Planet

The harmony of life between human beings, animals and nature in Greece is a very serious problem, as in the whole world. We have decided, that we will put every effort to highlight the problem to our travelers on all our tours. On this tour we visit a honey farm in the Peloponnese. There, we learn from the farm owner about the surprising health benefits of honey, the bee's life, their usefulness in human life, the danger of their extinction from our planet. We do our best to promote respect for bees and generaly for all insects in the planet.
We encourage our visitors, not to use the car for the short distances. By walking they can be part of the local life and at the same time they have the opportunity to help reduce exhaust gas in the atmosphere. At the begining of each tour, we give visitors written travel notes, where we inform them about our responsible policy and advice them, how they can apply it on the trip, by making their own efforts to protect the Greek environment.
Only all together, we can change the worldwide bad environmental situation. The planet does not belong to us!

People

From the begining of our operations in Greece, we have been working and growing with the help of local people in every region we visit, creating many new jobs in the process.
We use trained local Greek guides and tour leaders, rather than choosing leaders from other regions, whose knowledge and love of the area will never be as detailed as those who live in Greece.
We use locally owned and operated hotels. On each tour there is the chance to eat at and visit small family restaurants and local artisan workshops.
We always advise our guests to interact with the local people, get involved in their traditional feasts, taste delicacies from small stores, buy desserts and bread from local bakeries.
We strongly believe that travelers, who are passionate about responsible tourism, like we are, will follow our advice.
In this way, they will enjoy their journey and at the same time help our home country. We inform and advice our travelers, how to respect local customs and religious practices, giving them a greater understanding of the local people and culture.
