This itinerary includes several low-emission and human-powered excursions that reduce the overall carbon footprint of the trip. Travelers explore Buenos Aires by bicycle on a guided half-day “Heart of the City” bike tour, hike across glaciers during the Minitrekking Adventure in El Calafate, trek and kayak along the La Leona River, and enjoy extensive hiking and canoeing in Tierra del Fuego National Park. These experiences emphasize outdoor activity, exercise, and appreciation of nature without relying on motorized transport.

-Reduction of Unnecessary Flights
Although this 15-day itinerary involves domestic flights to connect Argentina’s vast regions (Patagonia and Iguazú), it optimizes routes to minimize redundant air travel. Overland connections—such as the bus journey between El Calafate and El Chaltén—replace short flights, significantly reducing emissions. Shared ground transportation is used in all destinations to lower the CO2 footprint per traveler.

-Local and Sustainable Food Options
Throughout the trip, travelers can enjoy local and seasonal cuisine, including vegetarian and vegan dishes offered in restaurants and hotels. Meals highlight regional products such as Patagonian trout, local vegetables, and Argentine wines. In collaboration with ReforestArg, we plant ten trees for every traveler to contribute to the cherished landscapes we adore. Currently, we have achieved our goal of planting 150.000 native trees in Patagonia. However, our journey towards regenerative tourism is just beginning.
