The expedition is camp-based. We bring all supplies by road to Chinese Base Camp, so no helicopter is needed for supplies. All camps are temporary: tents for sleeping, cooking, and resting are carried in and brought back out at the end of the expedition.

We carry out everything we bring in, including rubbish and waste. We melt snow for cooking and drinking. We use solar panels to power.

Everest is sacred to many Buddhists, so please be respectful of the mountain and the people who live around it.

People

This expedition is led by our local company, which focuses on Himalayan adventure activities. Every team member receives a salary, paid promptly after the expedition, plus insurance, equipment, accommodation, meals, and training.

Each Sherpa has a set load limit, and there is time to rest at Base Camp. During the final push, rest depends on weather and conditions.

Our Sherpa guides are professional mountaineers with years of experience who live in the region and know its weather, customs, and traditions. At Base Camp, you’ll be welcomed warmly and have a chance to learn about the cultures of Nepal and Tibet.

Some of our Sherpas are invited to international expeditions, training and workshops.
