Planet
Afrofuture is a vibrant, fun, and engaging festival designed to give you all the best of African culture. We encourage guests to reduce litter and dispose of waste responsibly, including recycling where facilities are available. We also work with local businesses that provide locally made goods and services. We work with the same local guides, drivers and hotels year after year, and we brief every group on how to visit sites and communities respectfully. In addition, we accompany our local personnel to these hotels to provide a lecture on environmental issues and to assist them in installing solar panels, as well as encouraging them to turn off lights and electrical appliances that are not in use.
We ask travelers not to litter and to dispose of their waste responsibly throughout the tour.
People
Afrofuture is a festival that promotes global unity through music, arts, and culture. This tour is a culturally immersive Ghanaian experience. We provide travelers with a unique perspective of Ghanaian culture by visiting the women's market in Accra and taking part in workshops featuring handcrafted accessories for purchase. Purchasing these locally made products provides an opportunity for travelers to buy directly from local sellers and support their businesses. In addition, travelers get to sample local delicacies and learn about the lifestyle of local people. With the aim of connecting and amplifying the talent of millennial Africans, we present participants with art, fashion, music, film, and food throughout the tour.
The tour celebrates the achievements of Africa-based artists, social enterprises, and charities. It is also an opportunity for travelers to engage with local communities and learn about ways they can make a positive contribution during their visit.
We also collaborate with local guides and operators who provide training and employment opportunities for local people in the tourism industry.
