For this tour, there are no domestic flights or private car travels. During your journey, you will rely on public buses, public boats, and 4x4 vehicles, as these are the ones that can access the areas you will be visiting during your Uyuni Salt Flats Expedition.

We collaborate with our on-site partners to actively minimize waste, which entails replacing all single-use plastic water bottles with refill options for reusable bottles.

Our lodging choices are all managed locally and deeply committed to environmental preservation. The staff will make sure to show you how to follow the facility's rules for proper waste disposal during your stay.
Most of the food at the accommodations you will be staying, comes from the area, and is organic. They also strive to reduce food waste.
These accommodations are working on consuming less energy, and water usage is controlled in showers and bathrooms.

The income generated from the collection of entrance fees at natural reserves, such as Incahuasi Island and Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, is crucial for both the ongoing maintenance and the continuous enhancement of these invaluable sites. This is habitat for various reptiles, amphibian, fish species, bird species, and mammals.

During this tour, we will be lodging in local hostels. For your Salt Flats Expedition, you will be staying at a salt hotel and a basic hostel.
