Throughout the journey, guided cycling tours in Helsinki and in Lithuania’s Zemaitija National Park provide additional low-carbon, human-powered ways to explore—totaling at least two active, eco-friendly days. Walking is a core aspect, especially in compact, historic city centers such as Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius, as well as during national park visits. Rental cars used for longer distances are compact and booked for the most efficient routing possible, minimizing the trip’s carbon footprint. Guests are encouraged to support sustainable travel behaviors by using city transport cards, choosing vegetarian or vegan options, and receiving advice on reducing travel-related emissions.
