By operating from a single liveaboard vessel, the MV Akoya Pearl, the experience avoids repeated transfers between islands and reduces the need for additional internal transport, helping to lower overall travel-related emissions during the journey.

Human-powered and low-impact activities such as snorkelling and observational time in the water form the core of the experience, reducing reliance on fuel-intensive recreational activities while fostering a slower, more mindful way of travel.

Daily operations are structured around shared resources on board, supporting efficient use of energy, water, and supplies within a contained environment at sea.
