This family journey combines Hanoi, Pu Luong, Ninh Binh, Bai Tu Long Bay and Hoi An, with opportunities to explore natural landscapes and local communities.

In Pu Luong, guests trek through rice fields and villages. We encourage them to stay on designated paths, avoid disturbing wildlife and respect local agricultural areas.

During boat trips in Bai Tu Long Bay and the Mekong Delta, we work with local operators and encourage guests to reduce single-use plastic, avoid littering and follow local guidelines to protect waterways and surrounding environments.

Cycling in Hanoi’s villages and the Mekong Delta offers an alternative way to explore local areas. Where possible, we work with accommodation providers that have measures such as reducing single-use plastics, conserving water and using locally available materials.

People

We work with local families, guides, restaurants and small businesses in Hanoi, Pu Luong and the Mekong Delta. Guests can share meals, join daily activities and learn local skills such as farming and cooking, providing income opportunities for local hosts.

In Pu Luong, guests can stay in traditional stilt-house homestays operated by local Thai families. We encourage the use of local materials and the preservation of traditional architecture.

Where possible, we choose locally owned restaurants and businesses, with ingredients often sourced from nearby farms and markets. Local guides accompany guests at each destination, sharing knowledge of regional culture, history and daily life.

At Tra Que Vegetable Village, guests can meet local farmers and learn about traditional cultivation methods. Throughout the journey, our guides encourage respectful interaction with local communities and an appreciation of Vietnam’s diverse cultural traditions.
