Why go on a multi-generational holiday?
Our 3G holidays – that is, holidays that involve three generations or more – are all about sharing. Share the experiences and create family memories together with grandparents. Share time with the kids and share the fun – but also share the responsibility and ensure that everyone gets some downtime to read their book or chill by the pool. Crucially, going with more adults might mean more opportunities to share the cost of your holiday too – and that means more money for ice cream.
Going tailor made
Going tailor made works well for multi-generational families. It means that you can tailor your trip to your whole family – stay in one place and take turns on pool duty with the kids and alternate who goes to the market for supplies and who stays in for a lie in or gets to read their book. Centre-based activity holidays mean that some people can go riding, others hiking and others can stay in for the morning, and everyone gets to meet up at lunch to share their stories.
