- In Iguazú Falls our local guides always encourage travelers not to feed native animals like coaties which abound in Iguazú National Park. This becomes an issue since people start feeding coaties and changing their natural diet which impacts the jungle food chain. Also, we advise you to choose the eco train inside the park to avoid other fuel-based transportation which may disturb wildlife.
- In the Iguazú Falls Brazilian side of the park, we discourage helicopter tours. These tours became common, but they generate audit contamination.
- During your trip to Iguazú, you can stay in some of our eco-friendly resorts, like Awasi which offers a “sleep in the jungle” authentic. experience. We choose Awasi because their villas were built on stilts and with a responsible purpose, thus, minimizing the environmental impact in the jungle.
