Description of Malaysia holiday, highlights of the Peninsula
This trip can be tailor made throughout the year to suit your requirements
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetThis itinerary includes overland travel for the most part excluding the need for domestic flights and cutting down on Carbon emissions. Public transport has also been incorporated into this itinerary and includes a train journey from Woodlands station in Singapore into Malaysia to Tampin.
From here we recommend taking a taxi to Malacca as it is more cost effective and fuel efficient than having a private car come from Kuala Lumpur or Malacca.
Where it is possible to make the most of your time we have included walking tours rather than tours with a vehicle. This way it cuts down on the fuel emissions and you can also get to grips with the local public transport systems too.
Blue Mansion in Penang has been faithfully restored to its former glory. It has a responsible attitude towards the environment and has limited facilities as a result. Using the tagline ‘Make a good future happen’ the hotel group aims to achieve sustainability throughout its business.
