If you’re looking to spend some quality time with the family in a picturesque location, then prepare to be sorely tempted by Rhodes. This fantastic family holiday is packed with exciting activities that can be tailored to your own preferences.Begin with a sailing lesson from a friendly boat captain, departing from the dock. Between practising your knots, learning how to take down a sail and steering the boat you’ll hop between sandy beaches perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Day three you’ll be left to your own devices. Head to the beach, or indulge in a wide array of optional activities here including windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, or choose a day trip. Rhodes is blessed with stunning natural landscapes, and kids will love exploring the valley of the butterflies, or hopping between offshore islands.
Heading over to Pefkos on day four, a highlight of the trip for family members of all ages will be a trip to the local waterpark. Spend hours of non-stop fun in the sun with rides, slides, lazy river and much more. The following day will be spent at a nearby watersports centre, where you’ll have your choice of activities. Will it be learning how to water ski? Bouncing through the waves on a banana boat? Or just relaxing on a sunbed by the bar?
For novice scuba divers, day seven will provide some thrills as you learn the basics from a professional instructor, then explore an underwater cave! Reward your efforts and daring afterwards with a traditional Greek BBQ.
Finally, as your week in Rhodes comes to an end, a pleasant day of horseriding at a centre on the coast. You’ll trot through the gorgeous countryside, and emerge on the beach where everyone will love the experience of riding through the surf.
Then return home with happy smiles, sun tans and memories to treasure.

Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

As Rhodes is a very touristy area, the environment is really sensitive. All of our activities are low carbon ways to explore Rhodes: sailing, horse riding and scuba diving and we are trying to avoid activities with high carbon emissions like jeep safaris or jet skis. It is also worth mentioning that there are restrictions in places regarding the activities. There are specific licences that define where each activity will take place in order to protect more fragile areas from pollution.
Our company, based in Tripoli of Peloponnese-Greece operates tours all around Greece.
We as a company avoid using paper as much as possible, and we recycle the amounts of paper that we can’t avoid to use.
The Impacts of this Trip
When you choose our holidays, you are choosing a responsible holiday. One of the biggest concerns of our company is to ensure that tourism will not affect the area in an ecologically and culturally negative way, and also to make sure that the locals will mostly benefit from your travel. Especially on the island of Rhodes, where mass tourism is very developed and has had a socio-culturally negative impact - we feel we are one of the few companies that consider the local community In our operations.
Upon your arrival you will receive guidelines about being a responsible traveller and what you can do (or not do) to support the Rhodian community. We encourage you to respect the locals and their tradition by dressing and acting properly or enjoy the famous Greek nightlife with responsibility. In addition we encourage you to buy local products from local producers and choose the local shops. For our part, we try to support the local community as much as possible. The water park, the horse-riding centre, the dive centre, the watersports center and the sailing excursions are all locally-owned and guided by locals.
Finally, our company which is the organizer and operator of this package ensures not only that economical benefit remains with the local community but also that you culturally benefit too. On this trip, you will visit so many different places and you will be surrounded by locals, experiencing the Greek way of living. We partner with hotels owned by locals and the focus is on locally-owned operations for the entire tour, which we feel nets benefits both ways. As mentioned before, activities are led by local guides who are a font of knowledge on the area, helping you to get the most out of your holiday.
