1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The places we visited were amazing
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do not book travel with this operator, esp. during COVID: they provide no support/info for country requirements, they do not properly organize the required PCR tests despite multiple prompts and discussions (we almost missed entry in one of the countries as a result and had to put a lot of efforts ourselves to organize and push labs), they overcharge for activities but refund below fair market value in case of cancellations. All in all, horrible experience with the travel agent
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Places amazing - 5 stars, logistics and travel agent horrible - 1 star. Overall, 3 stars, even less due to the stress and issues with the operator
Read the operator's response here:
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. While we work hard to maintain our high standards, there were some inconveniences this time.
We would like to clarify that we offered to help you with the PCR test but you preferred to book it on-site, so the logistics were more complex. We have agreements with laboratories in all destinations and the tests are done in the hotel or in a nearby laboratory, and in that case, we include a transfer in the reservation. We even have an emergency line to provide 24/7 support to our travelers, as well as a member of our team dedicated to advising on PCR issues,
country requirements, and protocols. We tried to help you as much as we could and give you the best support. The tour you mention was canceled because the land border was not open and we made the corresponding refund.
We are happy to hear that the places you visited were wonderful for you as well. We assure you that we have taken your comments into consideration to improve our service, and we will be more firm in our recommendation about booking PCR tests in advance with us.
Best regards from our team.
Responsible Travel
Planet
As a local Argentina Travel Company, we hold a deep appreciation for the Earth's natural wonders and understand the importance of their preservation. However, we believe that sustainability alone is insufficient. Travel, in our view, is a potent instrument for creating a positive impact on the destinations we explore.Let's take courageous strides toward a brighter future where we not only safeguard our planet but also leave it in a better state than we found it. This forms the bedrock of sustainable tourism.
Our Strategy: PLANT
Our approach is straightforward: PLANT. Set new objectives. Plant more. Repeat.
In collaboration with ReforestArg, we plant ten trees for every traveler to contribute to the cherished landscapes we adore.
Twice a year, we journey to Cholila, Chubut – Argentine Patagonia – to plant these trees, playing our part in preserving native forests, bolstering the local community, and giving back to Mother Earth.
Currently, we have achieved our goal of planting 20,000 native trees in Patagonia. However, our journey towards regenerative tourism is just beginning. With great pride, we redefine our objectives and introduce "Say Bosque": a forest of native trees planted in Patagonia.
Our commitment is to plant 100,000 native trees before the next Pachamama Day (August 1, 2024).
Zero-Plastic Policy
Our journeys are free of single-use plastics.
We hold our suppliers to exacting standards, requiring them to replace single-use plastics, such as bottles, containers, and disposable cutlery, with sturdy, eco-friendly alternatives.
This is a commitment we reaffirm year after year as we strive to minimize our ecological footprint and contribute to a healthier planet.
Through this initiative, we prevent more than 9,200 plastic bottles from entering the environment annually.
