Ethics on game drives in Zambia
Our local guides are extremely well-trained and taught to keep conservation of the area and well-being of the wildlife a priority during all game drives. On top of this, we'll stick to strict guidelines on game drives to ensure that the right distance is kept from animals, there are not more than three vehicles at one sighting at a time, and that the animals’ well-being is not compromised.

We’re proud to have partnered with two impactful organizations that are dedicated to the conservation of Zimbabwe’s wildlife and natural resources; the Victoria Falls Anti-Poaching Unit and Bhejane Trust. A portion of proceeds from all our trips go to these organisations.

The Victoria Falls Anti-Poaching Unit (VFAPU) works tirelessly to protect local wildlife from the pressures of poaching and human-wildlife conflict, operating in the stunning yet fragile environment surrounding the Victoria Falls National Park. VFAPU not only focuses on anti-poaching efforts, but also rehabilitates injured animals, provides alternative livelihood training for former poachers, and educates local communities on conservation.

The Bhejane Trust, supports the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority in protecting the wildlife of northwestern Matabeleland, particularly through its rhino monitoring program. Since its founding in 2010, Bhejane Trust has played a critical role in preserving the Black Rhino population in Hwange National Park and across the region, funding vital anti-poaching initiatives, research, and staff welfare programs. Through these partnerships, we are helping to ensure the protection and sustainable future of Zimbabwe’s extraordinary wildlife.

We make an effort to use products, services and food that have the least impact on the waste management of the country we are traveling in. If waste is generated and cannot be immediately recycled or disposed of, we transport it with us to the best location for proper disposal or recycling. We firmly believe in only leaving footprints behind.

People

We believe in the power photography has to support important social development work. In a world driven by images, the power of photography extends far beyond its ability to capture a moment in time. It has the potential to tell stories, evoke emotions, and most importantly, drive positive change. Nonprofit photography, in particular, plays a vital role in shedding light on important social issues, promoting awareness, and inspiring action.

Small nonprofit organizations in developing countries often lack the abilities within their team to produce strong images, and they likely have no budget for professional photography. Without powerful images, it’s hard to get attention for their cause and to appeal to an audience of potential donors.

Through our NGO photography program, we work to support grassroots nonprofits by photographing their programs in the field and supplying them with a database of strong images that they can use for communications and fundraising purposes.

Supporting Local Economy:
All operational staff members on the ground are locals, who get consistent training opportunities, comfortable accommodation, healthy food, and fair wages and working conditions.
