Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

We recycle everything we can, avoid wasting precious resources.
We separate glass, plastic, paper, cartoons, tins, and compost all food and garden waste, we also collect rain water and use it for the garden. We dont print brochures, instead make the most of advertising via Internet, we send e-mails to our clients instead of writing Christmas Cards, and try to answer to letters and faxes using electronic post; when we need to print something we do it on both sides, we use the blank side of sheets for personal notes; we ask our guests to give us back maps and leaflets, so other people can use them too.
All cleaning products are eco-friendly, and our washing is dryed in the sun.
The products we buy are either organic or locally produced.
Guests are encouraged to recycle all waste and to produce as little waste as possible. All the food on site is prepared fresh using locally grown product.
Rooms are deliberately kept without many electronic equipments.
We care about the environment and have chosen a way of living in accordance with this., our aim is to involve guests in caring for nature too, and make them think about sustainability.
Places we go to visit share the same philosophy, our clients will then be aware of the importance of sustainability, sometimes when they go back home they change some little habits and become more conscious about pollution or energy saving, that means a lot for us.
The Impacts of this Trip
We only employ people from our own comunity and try to get most of our supplies locally. Wines, beers, water all come from our region, and possibly from small producers.
We encourage our guests to buy local products from small shops.
Also we do our best to promote local tourism by organizing wine tasting,s, and visit to cheese farms that do not sell on the big, global market.
We are part of an association of different local companies such as farmhouses, restaurants, trekking guides, wine producers, artisans and artists created in order to promote tourism in our territory and send clients to each other. Also we cooperate actively with the local tourist board sending newsletters to our registered customers to inform them about particular events and activities (e.g. grape and saffron harvest, traditional village feasts).
Our aim is to promote quality and support the local economy, we encourage people who come on holiday to do the same, using local services and buying from traditional artisans.
