Montenegro to Albania active holiday
Description of Montenegro to Albania active holiday
This excellent 11 day self drive itinerary takes you through not one but two Balkan countries as you pick up your rental car in Skadar Lake, Montenegro, and follow the road to Theth and Valbonë in Northern Albania.
There’s no better way to compare and contrast the cultural heritage and natural landmarks of two of the Balkans lesser-visited tourist destinations with lake cruises through water lilies on Lake Skadar and mountain hikes in Prokletije National Park both included activities.
From flower filled alpine meadows and climbs into Moraca Canyon to glass-clear glacial lakes and breath taking panoramas over the Albanian Alps from Valbona Pass (1,795m), this active adventure is guaranteed to put your head in the clouds, in more ways than one.
