Our Trail Running Weekend has been chosen specifically for its environmental credentials and sustainable approach to running a rural business. The private hall is well connected and has a train station only a few miles away, meaning there are lower carbon ways of you travelling to the site. We also encourage lift share's with other guests where possible.

Our private caterer prides herself on using locally sourced ingredients, she brings in ingredients from a variety of local producers. Creating wholesome and sustainable meals perfect for keeping you fuelled all weekend long.

Guests will also be given the opportunity to take part in a voluntary trail clean in association with Trash Free Trails, always leaving the trails better than we found them.

People

North East Wales is less visited than its more famous counterparts of Snowdonia and Anglesey. One of our aims is to bring more visitors to this beautiful region, supporting those businesses whose livelihood depends on tourism. Ultimately we are working towards making more trips available during the quieter times of year, helping local business owners to sustain their business year round and provide reliable employment for local residents.

By joining this trail running camp, you will be helping us to improve recognition of this area and encourage more like-minded travellers to discover its wild trails too.

In addition to the venue, we also work with a number of other independent businesses to provide this retreat. Kirsty Martuccio is an independent practicing yoga instructor who believes in the health benefits of yoga in the great outdoors. And the star of the show, Tim Higginbottom, is a local resident. Internationally recognised in his sport of fell running, Tim is a champion of North Wales as the perfect training ground for fell and trail runners alike. Together we create a small network of micro businesses, supporting each other and supporting our wider community.
