We take pride in creating an African cultural and safari experience, supported by our staff and local guides. We contribute a portion of our profits to communities we visit and charities we support along the route.

We travel in small groups using shared vehicles. This allows our groups to travel together between destinations and reduces the number of separate vehicles required for the group.

Entrance fees for the national parks we visit, such as Pilanesberg National Park, contribute to the management and maintenance of the parks and, where applicable, support activities such as anti-poaching patrols.

We ask all travellers to carry their litter with them and our guides dispose of waste in towns where waste collection facilities are available.

People

Wherever possible, we use locally owned accommodation establishments. This provides opportunities for local employment and allows travelers' spending to support businesses in the communities they visit. We avoid large hotel chains where suitable local alternatives are available and use simple self-catering lodges and tented camps in some rural areas.

Our tours include destinations outside the main tourist centres, giving travelers opportunities to spend money at locally owned accommodation establishments, shops, restaurants and other businesses in the areas they visit.

We also employ local guides for certain activities on the tour. These guides provide travelers with local knowledge and expertise about the places they visit, while providing employment opportunities for people who live in those communities.
