This Chile active adventure holiday takes place over 17 days so you can travel slow, go deep and see more as you explore the cities of Santiago and Valparaiso, and spend time in Chilean Patagonia and the Atacama Desert.
Start in Santiago and then enjoy the coastal city of Valparaiso, via the nearby vineyards. From here you set off to Patagonia and stay in its most iconic national park, Torres del Paine, for four nights of trekking, boat trips, kayaking and horse riding in its epic landscapes.
On this holiday, you don’t just hop from place to place, but get to spend a good amount of time in each destination, allowing you to slip away from the beaten track. This trip includes a whole week in the Atacama Desert – this vast and beautiful place deserves a deep-dive, and makes a fitting, spectacular end to your adventure.

With environmentally-friendly tourism at the forefront of our itinerary planning, this is a trip that perfectly encapsulates the cohesion of sustainability, luxury and adventure in Chile. From handpicked ethically-run accommodation, to a focus on spending longer in areas of natural beauty in need of physical and financial protection.We also minimise domestic flights to just Santiago to Patagonia, and Patagonia to the Atacama, across a full 17 days of travel through a country spanning over 4000km in length. This is designed to cause far fewer emissions than a more traditional 'highlights' package trying to link all the famous sights of Chile and Argentina in one flight-heavy carbon-emitting package. These flights cover distances that would otherwise take at least six days of driving.
