We had a great experience. We had near perfect weather, loved the scenery, and felt justified in eating all of that delicious food and drink. Read full reviewResponsible Travel

Planet
We are dedicated to promoting authentic experiences that highlight Portugal’s natural and cultural heritage while encouraging environmental protection among our travelers. The Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina features diverse coastal habitats, including beaches, cliffs, islets, and consolidated dunes such as Pessegueiro Island. The region supports rare botanical species around Cape Sagres and Cape São Vicente, along with diverse birdlife—notably white storks nesting on coastal cliffs—and otters that inhabit the coastal marine environments.
As official partners of the Rota Vicentina since 2014, we design our itineraries for small groups limited to a maximum of 16 participants to help reduce physical impact on delicate trails. Along the Fishermen’s Trail, our guides inform travelers on Leave No Trace practices, resource conservation, water efficiency, and wildlife protection. To support trail upkeep and keep coastal paths clean, we participate in annual trail maintenance and marking initiatives alongside regional partners.
People
Our walking tours in the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina support local livelihoods across rural inland and coastal communities. By booking directly with family-owned accommodations, regional restaurants, and resident guides, we ensure that tourism spend reaches host families directly. We encourage travelers to experience traditional regional gastronomy, featuring fresh fish caught through local artisanal fishing in coastal villages, alongside traditional regional products. During daily walks, our itineraries incorporate stops at small village cafes, local bakeries, craft workshops, and family-run shops, supporting local artisans, basket makers, and potters who maintain regional heritage.
Communities along the Vicentine Coast have maintained a close connection between land and sea for generations. Supporting these host communities helps distribute economic benefits across rural areas while encouraging the appreciation and protection of the region's cultural and natural heritage.
