This six-day Armenia food and wine tour reveals the country through its vineyards, cuisine and centuries-old traditions. Travelling in a small group, you’ll explore the landscapes and communities that have shaped Armenia’s wine culture, from the fertile Armavir region to the vineyards beneath Mount Ararat.
The itinerary begins in Yerevan, where an evening city tour introduces you to the landmarks before your first winery visit. Subsequent days take you to UNESCO-listed sites including Zvartnots Temple, Khor Virap Monastery, Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery. Wine experiences range from boutique urban wineries to high-altitude vineyards, while visits to the Areni-1 Cave, home to the world’s oldest known winery, shows just how long Armenia has had to perfect its winemaking.
Food is a central part of the experience. As well as enjoying meals in family-run settings, you’ll take part in a traditional lavash bread-making masterclass, learning how Armenia’s famous flatbread is baked. Encounters with local producers and hosts bring the country’s culture to life, creating a deeper connection than a standard sightseeing tour.
The trip supports local communities by working with independent wineries, family-run venues and local food producers, ensuring tourism benefits the people who preserve Armenia’s culinary and winemaking traditions.

Wine & Food tour also includes exploring Armenian culture by visiting ancient churches and buildings. And as we highly appreciate and respect the culture of our country we encourage individual approach to every cultural heritage, following the orders of the guide.

Regardless of the type of the transportation that can be different due to the group size, we are willing to reduce air pollution by organising eco-driving style, which aims at saving fuel and also makes use of comfort and entertainment by providing air-conditioned vehicles.

1. A fair dealThe Wine and Food tour includes visiting regions, local places and we support the hard-work that local people do with a big enthusiasm. During the tour we visit diverse Wineries in different regions where local people are working and with their professionalism they help everyone to have a good experience there. We visit local cheese makers, take our part in a master class. We have two overnights in the villages of Armenian where local people are employed.
