At the same time, Victoria Palace in Paris has 100% of its electricity from green energy. Rooms are equipped with an electricity-saving system connected to air conditioning and heating, and they also reduce their carbon footprint through initiatives like a bicycle taxi service.

Where possible, we use human-powered transport, like walking tours, and encourage the use of trains over flying. For example, we used Eurostar on this trip rather than flying from London to Paris. Eurostar is a sustainable form of international travel with an average of 96% less carbon footprint than flying. All trains use renewable energy, and this is the first train company to join RE100.
