We keep our group sizes small to minimize environmental pressure on fragile ecosystems, especially within Andringitra National Park. All activities follow Leave No Trace principles. Our routes avoid festival-like tourism and prioritize areas where tourism directly supports conservation and land stewardship.

Our small group, low-impact travel model minimizes environmental stress on ecosystems, reduces waste, and lowers our overall carbon footprint. Smaller groups mean fewer resources consumed, less pressure on trails and wildlife, and more responsible, mindful travel.

Our environmental responsibility includes a strong commitment to become carbon-neutral by 2030. We calculate the carbon emissions from each trip using tools like the Carmacal calculator and offset them through trusted reforestation and renewable energy projects. Every step we take is part of a broader strategy to ensure that our trips don’t just avoid harm—but contribute to healing the planet.


We follow a strict leave-no-trace policy and promote the use of reusable items to reduce plastic consumption. We carefully select partners and suppliers who share our environmental values, especially those actively working to eliminate single-use plastics.

We also support local conservation initiatives. We contribute through education, donations, tree-planting, and wildlife monitoring. Our presence in nature is purposeful—we aim not just to witness its beauty, but to actively protect and preserve it for the future.

People

We believe travel should directly benefit the communities we visit. That’s why we prioritize working with local guides, porters, accommodation providers, and suppliers—ensuring that the economic impact of tourism stays within local economies. Our approach supports job creation, boosts livelihoods, and helps communities grow stronger and more self-reliant.

A core part of our mission is supporting marginalized groups. We actively partner with women-led enterprises and indigenous communities, providing them with fair wages, meaningful employment, and access to training and business development resources. In destinations like Madagascar, we work with local women’s cooperatives to help them thrive through ethical tourism. This trip empowers local communities in the Andringitra and Tsaranoro Valleys by partnering with guides, and community-run services. Travelers experience genuine cultural exchange; from dining at local restaurants to village walks and overnight stays that support families directly. Our local leaders are trained in sustainable practices and are passionate about preserving their traditions and environment.

Education plays a vital role in our community engagement. We work with our local partners to deliver sustainability and hospitality training to guides and service providers. By building awareness around responsible tourism, we help create long-lasting, positive change in the regions we visit—ensuring our presence uplifts people and protects their way of life for generations to come.
