During our time here, we’ll take gentle guided walks along cliff-top paths, sandy beaches, and through quaint villages, moving at a relaxed pace. Feel the textures of grass and stone underfoot, hear the waves crashing against the shore, and enjoy the fresh Atlantic air. Where appropriate, we’ll also include short boat trips along the coast, offering a sensory perspective of the cliffs, sea, and marine life.

Vegetarian and vegan options: We ensure vegetarian and vegan options are available throughout the trip by visiting local cafés, pubs, and markets with meat-free selections. During a hands-on Irish cooking experience, you’ll prepare and taste traditional dishes adapted for all diets, enjoying the aromas, textures, and flavours of local cuisine.

Heritage and culture: The Causeway Coast and Donegal are steeped in history and legend, from ancient castles and megalithic sites to traditional villages and artisan workshops. Highlights include visits to local craftspeople, such as tweed or pottery makers, where you can touch and feel the textures of materials while learning about their craft. Throughout our explorations, we encourage sustainable travel practices, and in some cases, our fees contribute to the preservation of Ireland’s cultural heritage for future visitors.

Natural wildlife and environment: This region is home to a rich variety of wildlife. On guided walks and coastal excursions, you may hear and spot birds such as puffins, herons, and seagulls, see seals along the shore, and perhaps encounter red deer in the hills. Our expert guides ensure all wildlife encounters are respectful and highlight the importance of protecting both the natural and built environment.

During our stay, you will visit local workshops, learn about traditional crafts such as tweed-making or pottery, and gain an appreciation of how these artisans maintain their livelihoods.

Our trips are carefully planned to cater to various needs, including those with physical or sensory impairments. Assistance is available from the moment a client arrives at a destination until departure. On Tailored holidays, support is provided as much or as little as required depending on levels of sight and mobility. For Group trips, support is provided for every two clients, according to individual needs. Circumstances requiring additional support, including personal care or help during meal times, are assessed individually, and we do our utmost to accommodate all travellers.
