Excursions are run in a small group to cut fuel use, limit noise pollution and avoid overcrowding. Wherever possible, we encourage low-impact activities, exploring on foot or by non-motorized means. Visits to protected areas such as Los Glaciares National Park include park entry fees, which directly fund conservation of landscapes and wildlife.

Each excursion includes local guides, ensuring employment for residents and authentic storytelling rooted in Argentinian culture. All the experiences are also carefully curated to provide authentic engagement. Properties are small boutique or family-owned hotels to ensure we channel tourism revenue into the local economy, often with a focus on employing local staff and suppliers. Kosten Aike Hotel takes its name from the Tehuelche (Indigenous people) meaning ‘place of the wind’ Most of the interior furnishing comes from local artists and is inspired by indigenous local designs.
