The trip includes an overnight sleeper train between Cairo and Luxor, followed by overland travel between Luxor and Hurghada. This gives travellers the opportunity to experience more of Egypt’s landscapes, farms, villages and desert scenery along the way.

For the Nile Cruise and Red Sea part of the trip, we encourage travellers to respect the natural surroundings and follow guidance from local guides and activity providers, particularly when visiting marine areas. Guests are encouraged to bring refillable bottles and avoid single-use plastics throughout the journey.

Travellers are also reminded to take their waste with them, respect archaeological sites and follow local guidance when visiting the Nile and Red Sea areas.
