Guests are encouraged to walk in areas such as Old Cairo, Luxor East Bank, and the local streets of Aswan whenever possible, reducing vehicle use while allowing travellers to experience neighbourhood life more closely. Selected hotels along the route follow basic sustainability practices, including energy-saving lighting, water conservation measures, and recycling where available.
