Rather than covering multiple short stops, travellers spend several nights in Buenos Aires, Iguazú and the Uco Valley, reducing repeated transfers and allowing a slower pace of exploration.

Where flights are necessary due to the long distances between Buenos Aires, Iguazú and Mendoza, ground logistics are streamlined to avoid unnecessary additional road journeys. Within destinations, several experiences reduce reliance on motor transport. Time exploring Buenos Aires and Tigre includes guided walking and boat navigation through the Paraná Delta rather than road-based touring. In the Uco Valley, a dedicated cycling day between bodegas offers a lower-carbon way to explore the vineyards while deepening connection to the landscape.

Food experiences throughout the itinerary centre on regional cuisine and Argentine wine culture. Vineyard lunches and asado experiences in Mendoza highlight locally produced ingredients, reducing reliance on imported produce and supporting shorter supply chains.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

The itinerary includes time in protected natural areas of international importance. Visits to Iguazú National Park in Argentina and Iguaçu National Park in Brazil contribute through entrance fees to the conservation and management of one of South America’s most significant rainforest ecosystems. These parks protect biodiversity within the Atlantic Forest, one of the world’s most threatened biomes.

The experience at Parque das Aves supports a conservation-focused bird park dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of native species affected by trafficking and habitat loss. Wildlife encounters throughout the trip are observational only and align with a strict no-contact wildlife approach.

In Iguazú, national park visits contribute directly to protected area funding, while local guiding and transport services provide economic opportunities linked to conservation tourism. In Mendoza’s Uco Valley, vineyard experiences and asado lunches connect travellers directly with wine producers and estate teams, keeping visitor spending within the regional agricultural economy.

Throughout the itinerary, meals and tastings highlight Argentine culinary traditions, encouraging engagement with local food culture rather than imported dining concepts.
