Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy. (more)Naomi Dunn
The welcoming, warmth of the owners and the cottage as we stepped in out of the cold. We loved the views offered from all sides. (more)Rahila Hussain
Memorable parts?
The beautiful Lock House in Boroughbridge and the last day of walking including. Fountains Abbey was the best part because of the landscape being more interesting.
Tips?
Bring your best walking shoes. There is a lot of walking on asfalt, but still you need waterproof shoes because of the many crossings of fields.
Local benefits?
Yes, only small local companies were visited during our walk.
