Memorable parts? Every day was a different wonder but the two days wild camping at the Okavanga Delta were really special. Tips? Be prepared for very early starts and not much relaxing times. Local benefits? Yes, local guides were used in a number of locations but obviously driving such long distances is not exactly environmentally friendly. Overall rating? Excellent. Memorable parts? The elephant by the side of the road in the wildlife corridor when we stopped to use the 'bush toilet'. The driver had not noticed it behind the solitary tree before we got out of the vehicle. I would also say the group of people I was with: the other tourists, and our driver and cook. Camping in the Khama Rhino Sanctuary and the Okavango Delta were amazing because these were the only times we truly were around nature and wildlife when not on a scheduled tour. Tips? There... Memorable parts? My last cage dive. We had one large female shark who did a slow pass right next to the cage. I would recommend adding a few extra days on either side of the project so that you can explore Cape Town and do any additional activities that you haven't yet had the chance to fit in. The longer you are there, the longer your "to do" list will get. Local... (more)Annabel Marriott

There is a watering hole directly in front of the main lodge and most days we sat on our sun loungers and watched impala, zebra and even elephants wander in for a drink which was amazing. In this reserve they use inter-lodge radio communications in the game vehicles to alert everyone to good sightings. This means you will see more of other vehicles and people but it also means you will get to see more and the best possible wildlife sightings. (more)Kerry McCranor
