We had a number of local guides showing us around places such as Elephantine Island as well as several stays with local families which were fantastic

(more)Most memorable moments were scuba diving the beautifully unspoiled reefs of Ras Abu Galum, stargazing at night while sipping Bedouin tea, loving the wonderful camels and letting your mind remain silent while taking in the beautifully stark and wild scenery of South Sinai. Not always for the right reasons - lots of tummy upsets and camel bum, as well as the intense heat - but also a wonderful location and more of an adventure than we had expected.
