Your partnership
Each partner has a dedicated partnership manager assigned to them. For questions about your account please email your partnership manager. We can also arrange to chat on Teams, Google Meet or Zoom.

How our partnership works
As a partner of Responsible Travel, your holiday pages are listed on the website in the relevant sections of the site. Each of your holiday pages has an enquiry function that allows travellers to directly contact your reservation staff via the email you have provided us with as your point of contact for sales. All enquiries are sent to you by email from leads@responsibletravel.com.
Watch our 'Introduction to the website and receiving enquiries' video to learn more.
We ask you to respond to the enquiry within 48 hours and give you guidelines to help convert the enquiry into a booking.
After you have received the enquiry, you then manage all aspects of the sales process directly with the customer. We do not take bookings or payments from the travellers themselves. You will have access to our console system where you can track your enquiries and declare your bookings to us, which will be invoiced during the month of travel.
Please note that for commercial reasons we do not display your company or individual trip names on the pages, this is against our terms and conditions.

Benefits of being a partner of Responsible Travel
Reach
Our sales in 2022 were £20 million, we promote over 6,000 holidays, from 420 partners in over 180 countries, we are the largest responsible tourism platform globally and can generate high quality booking enquiries for your organisation.
Quality leads
In January 2023 the site had 350,000 unique users resulting in high quality leads for our partners, with conversion rates of up to 20% (av. 16%).
Pioneering network
You are now part of a community of tourism businesses who care passionately about their destinations. We are proud of the holiday companies we represent and the pioneering business that we have established since we started in 2001.
Honesty scheme
Responsible Travel operates on an honesty basis. This is a unique business approach which we are proud of and is proven to be a success for both parties. It is down to you as a partner of RT to have sufficient tracking in place so that when a customer that we have introduced to you confirms their booking, you declare this in our system (the console).
Commission Payments
Our finance manager Lyn will send invoices to you for each booking in the relevant month of departure.
If the customer changes any aspect of their trip or cancels altogether, you are able to update the booking details or cancel the booking completely in the console. As we will only invoice you in the month of departure, booking details can be edited up until this point. If you are unsure how to edit or change booking details please contact your partnership manager.
If the amount of commission due is very small we may wait until more commission has accrued before invoicing to save on admin. However, the commission is still valid and will be invoiced.
Our invoices are always in GBP (British pounds sterling) and are always sent as a PDF attachment via email. We do not send paper invoices. If you believe you should have received an invoice but haven't, or for queries related to invoicing/finance, please contact lyn@responsibletravel.com.
Incentives
We believe travel can open up horizons, broaden perspectives and ultimately be an unforgettably enjoyable experience. Every time a customer books via us, they have the opportunity to send a disadvantaged child or young person on an inspiring day trip or receive a Lonely Planet voucher worth £20. We give 1% of our sales to our Trip for a Trip program.
When customers choose Trip for a Trip, we are alerted to the fact that a booking has been made and this allows us to see if a partner is not tracking and declaring the bookings that we have generated for them. Only 30% of our customers choose trip for a trip, so a sound tracking process is paramount to ensure all bookings are correctly tracked and declared. More details here:
