On this trip you can visit Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Visiting this UNESCO-listed park contributes to conservation efforts. Entrance fees help fund the protection of rare wildlife, including pangolins and langurs. The tours here are strictly controlled to limit human impact on the caves and surrounding rainforest.

Overtourism: Rather than following the usual tourist trail (which can cause overcrowding and environmental damage), this itinerary takes travellers to lesser-visited areas, spreading the impact of tourism more evenly and reducing strain on Vietnam’s most popular spots.

We provide a range of information in our pre-departure travel pack which is tailored to the individual country they are travelling to. Each pack includes a page on reducing plastic waste. In particular, we encourage customers to take their own reusable water bottles, and we work with our partners to ensure there is a system for regularly re-filling these with clean water.

People

During our walking tour of Hoi An, we invite you to experience lunch at STREETS. Since 2009, they have been providing culinary and hospitality training to disadvantaged youth. By dining here, you get a delicious lunch and support a project that provides trainees with nutritious food, housing, clothing, uniforms, a supportive community, and access to basic medical care.

This Farming & Fishing Life Tour provides you with a close-up and intimate experience to both the local farming and fishing communities around Hoi An. Accompanied by your tour guide, you commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first-hand, Later you will board a local boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. This experience goes directly back into the community we visit.

We use local guides and suppliers which not only allow travellers to get the local expertise and make real connections, it also puts money back into those communities.
