Description of Argentina & Brazil holiday, 12 day itinerary
On this 12 day Argentina and Brazil holiday, you’ll get to experience a less touristy region of Argentina – the north. While its charms may not be as well known as those of southern Argentina, it’s a region that excites everyone who visits, with its remote wetlands, tropical farms, vineyards and, of course, the magnificent Iguazu Falls.
It’s not all about the natural world, however, and you’ll have time to experience two of South America’s most iconic and dynamic cities. First off, there’s Buenos Aires, where you’ll tour the cobbled streets and elegant buildings of the city’s historical and political centre. You’ll also take in a Tango show and sample some of the local food and wine. Rio de Janeiro is the other heavy hitter on your list, and as well as a half day city tour taking in Sugar Loaf Mountain and Copacabana Beach, you’ll get to escape to the jungle on a trip to Tijuca Atlantic Forest, which has incredible views out over the cityscape.

CARBON REDUCTION-Thoughtful Route Design
This tailor-made itinerary minimizes internal flights by combining overland travel and regional connections, reducing unnecessary air segments while still covering diverse ecosystems across Argentina and Brazil.
-Low-Impact Experiences
Activities such as walking trails in Iguazú National Park, silent boat navigation in the Iberá Wetlands, and nature walks in Tijuca Forest promote exploration with minimal environmental footprint.
-Say Bosque Commitment
Through Say Bosque initiative, every trip actively contributes to native forest restoration in Patagonia, embedding carbon reduction and regeneration into the travel experience rather than treating it as an add-on.
ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
-Protection of Key Ecosystems
The itinerary includes visits to protected areas such as Iberá Wetlands, Iguazú National Park (Argentina and Brazil), and Tijuca Atlantic Forest, supporting conservation, biodiversity monitoring, and ecosystem restoration.
-Environmental Education Through Local Guides
Specialized local guides share in-depth knowledge of flora, fauna, and conservation challenges, fostering awareness and long-term respect for South America’s natural heritage.
