Central Vietnam caves and cultural tour

This itinerary combines Central Vietnam’s natural and cultural highlights, including Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Hue and Hoi An. When visiting caves such as Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave, we encourage guests to stay on designated routes, avoid touching cave formations and take their rubbish with them.

We use trains from Dong Hoi to Hue and encourage drivers to avoid unnecessary engine idling and use air-conditioning at a moderate setting.

We also work with locally owned accommodation where possible and encourage partners to reduce single-use plastics, conserve water and use locally available materials for maintenance. Guests are encouraged to carry refillable water bottles, minimise waste and follow local guidelines when visiting natural and cultural sites.

People

We work with locally owned restaurants, hotels, boat rowers and guides in Dong Hoi, Hue and Hoi An, using local products and regional cuisine where possible. This helps keep tourism spending with local businesses and service providers.

We also encourage local hosts to share traditional food, stories and cultural knowledge with visitors. Our guides introduce guests to local customs and history, creating opportunities for respectful interaction with communities.

Throughout the tour, we encourage guests to respect local traditions and customs and to engage with local people in a considerate way.
