CARBON REDUCTIONThe entire stay takes place in one place, with tourists accessing individual attractions on foot or cross-country skis. Therefore, there is neither the need nor the possibility of using road transport. Only getting to the mountain hut requires transferring skis and luggage, which the owner will gladly take care of, providing his own transport.
ENVIRONMENT & WILDLIFE
Izerskie Mountains are incredible because they literally raised from the dead. The region had been heavily devastated by the acid rains caused by nearby industrial area in former Czechoslovakia. In the late 20th century, once the industry had been reduced, the region was recultivated and flourished with beautiful nature. People started to visit it and it became famous in the world because of the specific microclimate and breathtaking night sky. Now it thrives with its beauty and wilderness, giving a chance for everyone to experience it for the whole year. During the trip the travelers will be using dedicated ski-running paths. Open air camp is prepared in an area with no danger to both travelers and nature. Mountain shelter is run by a passionate highlander, who has dedicated his life to preserve Izerskie Mountains and make tourism there comfortable and responsible. Tour leader will encourage travelers to use their own refill bottles. Own sleeping bags will be a good idea in order to reduce laundry.

LOCAL ECONOMYDuring the trip travelers will have a chance to meet the wonderful people of Izerskie Mountains, who do their best to provide the best winter experience. Competing with more famous winter regions in Poland and Czechia, their job is even more difficult, so they put a stress on natural resources.
The food they serve is made by themselves, bakery is delivered from local bakers, and scrambled eggs made by their kitchen staff is the finest breakfast one could experience.
There are small towns in the nearby area, where fine local products from various craftsmen might be purchased.
Travellers will use the skiing equipment provided by the local ski-rentals.
For children we can organize a sleigh ride.
EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY
Tour leaders do their best to make sure everyone is safe and feel comfortable during the whole trip.
As far as diversity is concerned, be advised that anyone, regardless race, gender, sexual orientation or nationality, is the most welcome on our tours. We prepare itineraries in order to create an open and welcoming experience for all travelers.
