Travellers explore Wilderness National Park by canoe along the Touw River and on foot via short hikes to waterfalls, as well as walking trails in Tsitsikamma National Park and along the Cape St.Blaize coastal trail. These experiences minimise reliance on motorised transport while encouraging deeper engagement with natural environments.

Travellers are encouraged to use reusable Water-to-Go filtration bottles, which can replace hundreds of single-use plastic bottles over the course of a trip. This significantly reduces plastic waste in destinations where recycling infrastructure may be limited.

Customers are encouraged to consider the carbon emissions of their international flights, with guidance to use comparison tools such as Google Flights or Skyscanner to select lower-emission options. Travellers are also advised to conserve energy and water during their stay and reduce unnecessary waste and packaging.

Accessibilty
Due to the active and group nature of the tour, participation requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. Travellers should be comfortable walking for up to 3 hours, taking part in light outdoor activities such as hiking and canoeing, and carrying their own luggage. The tour has a minimum age of 14 and a guideline maximum age of 65. However, exceptions to the upper age limit can be made for travellers who meet the physical requirements and are able to fully participate in the itinerary.
