Throughout the holiday, guests are encouraged to embrace slow travel by walking in historic city centers and pedestrianized areas, which not only offers an immersive experience but also reduces overall emissions. Local guides are briefed to inform travelers about reducing carbon impacts, including choosing vegetarian and vegan menu options, which are available at most meals and feature Sicily’s rich seasonal produce.
