Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your holiday to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.

Planet

Family tour with younger children give you the opportunity to explore the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s signature attractions visiting the Great Pyramids, ONE of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, middle pyramid of Khephren and the little one of Mykerinos and mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient pharaohs, the tour includes visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx. All our activities are designed to have minimal impact on the environment.
All of our guides and suppliers work according to this concept. We send to the clients a "Code of Ethics" information sheet prior to travel, advising them the cultural and environmental impacts of their activities. As part of the code we advise them on how to respect the local environment to help preserve it for future generations.

We advise our drivers in Cairo, Egypt not to use the horn even in case you do not have any client and this is a behavior and we need to improve it. We use trains because they have minimal impact on the environment and how to be an example to the others in Cairo and Giza. We keep advising travelers to conserve water and put tissues in the bin. In my opinion, you should start by yourself and advise the others to do like you. That is the best example to be followed.

We offer charitable organization for our clients to visit, like Masr Al Mahrusa Baladi. Masr Al Mahrusa Baladi Organization (NGO) tries to improve the quality of education in Egypt at governmental schools especially primary schools and taking care of genius students at governmental schools. Also, that organization helps in wiping out illiteracy in addition to bringing up and educating orphans.

During the trip, we give a brief description of Egypt from Pharaonic time until the time of the revolution in 1952. We also give out information about the Arabic language, local religions and appropriate dress (particularly for women).

People

Family tour with younger children supports local communities in Cairo, Egypt. Our activity providers are also independent and so by taking this holiday you will be supporting their employment.

Our tours and holidays maximize the opportunity for clients to meet local people and learn about the local culture. We use employees from the local community. Clients can feel that while they are in Cairo and its suburbs. So sightseeing tours are operated and led by local guides. Also, we use local drivers and all arrangements of tours are made by local staff.

We ensure that all of the local people we work with have good working conditions with reasonable working hours, a contract and a fair wage. We choose local restaurants and accommodations to have the benefits remain within the local communities. Clients are kindly asked to respect the culture of the people in Cairo, Egypt and details of our guidelines will be provided on booking.

We make your holiday to Egypt unforgettable but not at the expense of the environment or the local people. Concerning local community, we encourage clients to buy handmade artifacts from the local producers like perfume, papyrus, carpets and pharaonic gold or silver souvenirs. So they can deal directly with local people with the help of our local guides. Moreover, we use locally owned hotels and restaurants and their employees are local people.
