We also try to organise sightseeing days by area where practical, so guests can visit nearby sites together rather than travelling back and forth across the cities.

In both Cairo and Alexandria, guests have opportunities to walk in historic areas, traditional neighbourhoods and local streets. This gives travellers a chance to explore the cities at a slower pace and see more of everyday life. Guests are also encouraged to carry refillable water bottles and avoid unnecessary single-use plastics where possible. Our guides try to share simple responsible travel tips, including keeping public places clean, respecting historical monuments and being aware of local surroundings.

We aim to choose accommodation that is suitable for the itinerary and location, while considering practical aspects such as comfort, accessibility and the services available to guests. This journey is designed and operated by a local Egyptian travel company, with local guides, professional drivers and tour leaders involved in delivering the trip. We use Egyptologist guides who live and work in Egypt, giving travellers the opportunity to learn about the country's history, culture and daily life from local professionals.

We try to source accommodation, transport services and meals from local or locally managed businesses whenever possible. In Alexandria, this can include local restaurants, cafes and other small businesses that visitors may experience during the trip. Guests are encouraged to interact respectfully with local vendors, café owners and neighbourhoods while exploring the cities.

Our guides share historical information as well as their own local knowledge and perspectives, helping travellers understand modern Egyptian life alongside its ancient heritage. We aim to maintain good working relationships with our local suppliers and service providers through clear communication, reliable coordination and professional day-to-day cooperation.
