Memorable parts? Visiting Hampi was probably the highlight, but all of our destinations were memorable. Tips? Sit back and enjoy. It couldn't get much better. Local benefits? India seems to be more aware of environmental issues than we are in the west. Plastic bags were not much in sight, recycling was a common practice and everywhere we saw signs warning against the impact of abuse to our planet. Overall our experience was extremely positive, and we look forward to our next... (more)Malcolm Bulloch

Memorable parts? There are so many very special moments, but we feel that this holiday enabled us to become involved with local people and their culture that we couldn't have achieved independently. Certainly we interacted and used local people as much as possible. Overall rating? Excellent, all... (more)Amanda Eley

Memorable parts? The experience of cycling through rural India, meeting and reacting with the local people. Even a local police sergeant bought us all breakfast when we met him one morning. Tips? A reasonable standard of fitness is required. We were a group of 9 men with ages ranging from 54yrs to 67yrs. Take a good pair of padded cycle shorts. Local benefits? We stayed at lovely boutique hotels and staff were employed from the local area. Also used local roadside stalls for... (more)Bob Stunt

Memorable parts? We traveled as a family and moved every couple of days so ever day brought something new and was memorable. What was exciting about this holiday was learning about other cultures and meeting people living in a variety of different ways. But as a family, the favorite experience was riding an elephant. Tips? Take plenty of hand sanitiser for when you are out and about and some toilet rolls too. Food is very cheap, eat out! Don't eat at the Sandesh Prince hotel in... (more)Gentian Bolt
