Due to our sensitivity about the environmental problem, we decided to make all our tours in the city center by foot or by public transport and use a professional car only on long distances. Walking has minimal impact on the environment and when you are strolling inside Athens you can enjoy a relationship with the Athenians. On foot you will find that people treat you as a visitor rather than a tourist. Also by walking you can soak up the monuments, the sounds, the scents, the local habits. This also helps our guests to get to know better Athens and the real Athenian life.

During this tailor made tour we follow the principles of "No Trace Travel". In Athens almost all places we pass through have recycling options and we encourage our guests to use them for specific items. We also suggest them to buy food with minimal packaging to reduce plastic waste and try to use tap water and refill their own bottle for free at retaurants and hotels, in an effort to avoid plastic water bottles of one-use. Besides, Athens has a good water supply system, so they can drink tap water safely.

In Athens the accommodation we offer are mostly well equipped family room suites near the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum or small hotels with a cozy home atmosphere, where our visitors experience the Greek hospitality.
We also recommend our guests to enjoy their meals in Athenian small traditional taverns, located in the city center and the old town, tasting almost homemade food and we encourage them to visit some workshops of Athenian artisans, who love their work and create beautiful objects, suggesting to buy from there , instead of buying from tourist shops.
The guided tours we offer within Athens are usually conducted by Athenians, who love the city center and know it very well. Most of the tours we offer are on foot. This is a great way for all visitors to experience city life, talk to the residents and see the real face of Athens up close. In the summer months we recommend our guests to watch a movie in a famous open air cinema of the old city near the Acropolis, a pastime much loved by the Athenians.
