Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Planet

Armenia always attracts travelers by their natural beauty, traditions and heritage. It’s our responsibility to prevent this treasures and encourage our travelers to avoid littering, tearing or damaging flowers, as well as to respect wildlife habitats and so on.

Water
Water is vital during this tour. This means that our tourists should have at least 2 bottles of water every day, but it is not necessary to have with them plastic bottles. So we always give them glass bottles.

Waste
We use emails rather than fax and do not print documents but store them on our computers and in online clouds. All of our invoices, travel information and travel documents to our clients are issued as PDF - not printed on paper. Also we reduce waste and pollution by collaborating with plastic and paper waste reducing company in Armenia named "Ecoaghb".

Energy
We encourage our tourists to conserve energy and maintain the use of air conditioners, lights and other electrical equipment to a minimum.

People

Friends & neighbors
Our tourists travel in small groups so they have a minimal impact on the environment as we go. We ensure that local economies benefit from our business by using locally-owned accommodation, employing local people as specialist guides, working with local operators and suppliers. In doing so, we are not only investing in local communities but also offering our travelers a genuine insight into a country and its people.

When it comes to taking pictures of the people themselves, it is always advice our travelers to ask their permission beforehand. Respect their right to privacy if they decline the request.

A fair deal
Working conditions are at the core of paid work and employment relationships. Generally speaking, working conditions cover a broad range of topics and issues, from working time to remuneration, as well as the physical conditions and mental demands that exist in the workplace. So we offer local people good working conditions with a fare wage.

Travelling with respect
We always inform our tourists about local customs and traditions, communication issues and rules of conduct in the churches. Thus, we minimize the risk of misunderstanding with locals and disrespectful behavior in religious places.
