1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The packrafting. This was the whole family's favourite part of the trip. It's a truly beautiful place and a great fun experience. With periods of serene beauty with the occasional white knuckle rapids to navigate. We did the three day trip in two days, which was quite a long way but we all managed. The rafts are comfortable and you are always going with the current. The Tara canyon is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. Our guide, was great. His enthusiasm kept us all going. All the activities are good though. Paragliding was amazing.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

The canyoning was great fun but it is a full body workout for three hours plus. Be prepared for that. You should get an esim online. You don't need the app, install it and it activates as soon as it is connected in Montenegro. I bought one and hotspotted it for the whole family. There is a good signal in Žabljak.
There is a very good eco restaurant 15 minutes drive away, highly recommend a trip there, can't remember the name of it but the guides will know it.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

All the guides were local and the company is run by locals. The environmental impact felt like it was small.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Great fun, exhausting if you do a full itinerary so stay a little longer if you want to relax afterwards.Kotor or any of the other Southern areas are well worth a visit.

Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your holiday to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.

Planet

CARBON REDUCTION

We are proud to be an eco friendly tour company meaning that we do care about our planet. Not only that we are reducing domestic flights, but we are also minimizing any kind of transportation. For this specific tour we are not using any sort of transportation except e bike & packraft. We are staying in the campsites and ethno villages that are using renewable energy and also we do camping in the wilderness without electricity at some days of the trip.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

In 5 of 7 days we are using human powered transportation such as e bike & packraft. Our company is also involved in nature conservation projects especially in the river protection. We are organizing and supporting several annual events that are connected to protection of destination and we are carefully approaching each of our trips to ensure that we reduce any possible negative impact to the nature. We are following Leave No Trace principles and we try to educate our clients during the trip so they can also be a positive example in the future.

People

LOCAL ECONOMY

All the accommodation cites that we cooperate with are locally owned .
We employ only local guides and we are always visiting local markets for food supplies and we pay visit to the domestic families in the villages on our way, to make sure that our clients get the full cultural and historical experience.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

More than 95 percent of people that we or our partners employ are from our country and at least 75- 80 percent are locals, from the areas that we operate in.
When ever we have a chance we support poor people from community, we employ woman as guides or as logistical support.
We do pay at least 20 % more than minimum wage to our employees.
All our trips are LQBT friendly.
We do provide kayak / packraft school every year for local communities, motivating younger population to become guides and active members of society in terms of nature protection .
