CARBON REDUCTION

Our aspiration is to introduce a new rationale about travelling, one that balances knowledge and recreation. We are committed to creating trips that will have as less carbon emissions to the environment as possible. We encourage our travelers to use the public buses on the islands that operate daily. We reduce internal flights use and arrange for our travelers to travel to the islands by ferry. We ensure our travelers come in contact with the unique landscape & nature of Cyclades and the geomorphology that has impacted local culture and the character of residents from time immemorial. Thus, we select hikes through unknown natural trails, explore caves, climb mountain peaks, and discover the ancient civilization of this land as well as its contemporary expression by those who keep the exuberant past alive.

The locations we select to visit are often significant habitats for sensitive flora and fauna species. Their very existence indicates a healthy natural environment. The least we can do is respect them and minimize the impact of our visit while we are there and after our departure.
Vegetarian and vegan food is always a choice in the Greek islands. The Meditarrenean diet is mainly a vegetarian-based cuisine. We cooperate with local producers who cultivate and produce healthy products from the Cyclades that offer to our travelers.

We are committed to promoting nature-positive holidays – trips that actively help both protect and restore healthy biodiversity.
Most of the accommodations we cooperate with, comply with the policies of reducing their environmental impacts. They harvest rainwater and operate on water reduction (water is limited in the islands), they recycle and use solar panels as a source of renewable energy.

People

LOCAL ECONOMY

We are committed in supporting the people of the Cyclades islands. The accommodation we select for our travelers, are owned by locals who follow the rules of sustainability and use local resources for the function of their rooms. Breakfasts offered are always handmade of local fresh products, the car companies we use are owned by small local companies of locals. The mountain guides we cooperate with are locals with rich experience and love to the natural treasures of the islands.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

All our partners are local-based companies and operate with local employees. This is part of our philosophy to offer our travelers an authentic holiday experience by meeting and mingling with the local community. We ensure that all our staff is paid the legal minimum wage. Our aim is to contribute as much as we can to the indigenous growth of this land that excites us with its authenticity and exuberance, this land that we never stop discovering.
